Wings need to swap Erne and Fabbri. 3rd line is absolutely brutal.

Guess Yzerman didn’t want him.

Only been 4 games but Suter so far is not cutting it at center. No points, -3 (worst on team) and only 33% on faceoffs (one of the worst % on the team). Might be better with Fabbri centering the 2nd line (70% on faceoffs) and move Suter to the 3rd line and Rasmussen to the wing.

So far the Wings still look like a 1 line team 5 on 5. Shut down the Larkin line and the Wings are lucky if they score a goal. Something needs to be done to get line 2 and 3 chipping in some offense 5 on 5.

TB did have first refusal. The rule, as it’s being presented, is if no one else put in a claim, they could send him right to the AHL without additional waivers. Don’t know how many teams may have put in, but TB wasn’t going to let him go since Kucherov is on IR again. TB should still be last pick based on end of year standings. 30 other teams would have had to pass for him to go to the AHL without needing waivers

Quote:

The Tampa Bay Lightning weren’t going to pass up the opportunity to bring back one of their own. The team has claimed Alex Barre-Boulet off waivers from the Seattle Kraken. If they were the only team to submit a claim, they can assign the young forward directly to the AHL as if he cleared.

Is anyone a pop culture/DVD expert? This is a bizarre one, but I’m trying to find a tv series in digital format and having no luck. It’s a rare bird that isn’t available via stream, DVD or blu ray

Something sure needs to change. Suter’s not impressed at all yet (highlighted above…). We’ve been lucky thus far, but as the season goes on, it’s essential to have depth scoring. And it’s not showing up yet.

Yeah, I commented a bit on this above. Really good call, D. Something’s definitely off with him. He looked ok in pre-season, nothing mind-blowing. Needs a little jump-start. The problem is we’re reliant upon 1 line for scoring consistently. Getting a couple empty-netters is not an indicator of being a hard puncher.

The thing I really worry about is the FOW. Last night stunk. Losing Glennie kills us in the D-zone and destroys momentum and time on the o-zone on the PP. There’s got to be some serious effort put forth to gain momentum & improve this area. Mickey said something the other night about losing 15-30 seconds off the PP when the face-off is lost. With an anemic PP (generally speaking, taking in the past several season’s data…), we need anything we can get to help us out.

Tampa was ahead of the 7 teams that finished with a better point total than they did last season. If Ottawa put in a claim they would have gotten him.

Looking to find the “New Leave it to Beaver” series. Peacock streams the original. Can’t find the new one anywhere

This goes back to a debate from yesterday. A couple outlets reported that TB gets first refusal since they had just waived BB. There’s a part of the CBA that says if no other teams put in a claim, then TB could send him to AHL without waivers but having a hard time nailing down if first refusal is an addendum. Lots of back and forth. I think several teams probably put in a claim but TB got him back. Trying to find who else tried

Yeah, the name was changed. My concern about DVDplanetstore is I think it’s in Pakistan and they may not hold to formatting or licensing standards. I can’t find it anywhere else. I’ll keep looking, but thanks for that. It started as “still the beaver” and then the name was changed to “the new leave it to beaver” at some point. Strange series, hard to pin down

Nobody reputable said Tampa had first priority.

And that’s the back and forth. I have calls into the NHL and that’s why I’m digging to find teams that had a higher pick than TB on the waiver wire. Ottawa certainly did. If they did put in for the player and TB still got him, it would lend itself to that scenario. I’ve said all along I’m willing to be wrong, and that’s why I continue to dig.
